LAST TIME OUT: Idaho earned the scoreless draw with UC Riverside in the Dome on Sunday.  The Vandals had their chances but found the post and the crossbar on a handful of occasions.  Riverside entered the game as one of the top defensive teams in the nation, conceding just one goal in seven games so far this year.  Goalkeeper Makayla Presgrave had a great game, tying her season-high with seven saves in her second shutout of the year.

MATCHUP: Idaho is 1-10-1 all-time against Seattle U.  The lone win came two years ago, at Seattle U., when the Vandals were able to come back from down 1-0 with a pair of goals in the final 20 minutes to take the 2-1 win.

The last meeting was anything but a defensive struggle, with Seattle U. eventually winning, 5-3.  Idaho scored two early, with Kelly Dopke and Morgan Crosby finding the back of the net, but Seattle U. rallied back with four straight goals over a 27 minute stretch.  Claire Johnson got the Vandals back in things midway through the second half, with a 35-yard bomb, but the Redhawks picked up an insurance goal 10 minutes later to seal the win.

COMMON OPPONENTS: Idaho and Seattle U. have played a pair of common opponents so far this season.  Both squads conceded three goals and lost to Washington State.  Seattle U. was able to net one against the Cougars in the loss.  Both teams also faced UC Riverside last weekend.  The Highlanders defeated the Redhawks, 2-1, and drew with the Vandals.

Seattle U. has also played two other Big Sky schools.  The Redhawks defeated Eastern Washington, 3-0, and Portland State, 3-0.
