EUGENE, Ore. – The non-conference portion of the season comes to a close on Sunday, as Idaho soccer (3-4-1) travels to take on Oregon (5-1-1) at 1 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT: Idaho pulled out the thrilling 3-2, overtime win at Seattle U. on Thursday night. The Vandals trailed on two occasions, after conceding the opening goal in the 18
th minute and then going down, 2-1, in the 63
rd. But the Vandals stuck with it, with their center backs scoring on a pair of set pieces.
Kayleigh Frederick netted the first, early in the second half.
Morgan Crosby sent in a perfect corner that bounced around in the box, before
Kaysie Bruce was able to get a header on frame. The header appeared to cross the line, but play continued just long enough for Frederick to pounce and fire in a shot that left no doubt.
Kelly Dopke got the game-tying goal in the 86
th minute, heading in
Josilyn Daggs' long throw to level the score and force overtime. The Vandals got the game-winner early, as
Natalie Fischer found
Kayla Watanabe on the back post just over two minutes in.
MATCHUP: Idaho is 0-4-1 all-time against Oregon, including a 0-4-0 mark in Eugene. Last season, Idaho fell on the road, 1-0.
OVERTIME STREAK ENDED: Prior to Thursday night's overtime win at Seattle U., Idaho had gone 23 consecutive overtime games without a win. The Vandals hadn't scored an overtime goal since August 19 against South Dakota, when current Vandals Hall of Famer, Chelsea Small, scored the game-winner in the 104
th minute.
