FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Idaho men's golf finished 14th at the season-opening Ram Masters Invitational and senior
Enrique Marin picked up where he left off last season. The Vandals shot 45-over for the tournament (294-293-298=885), led by Marin's 3-over 213 (67-73-73). Marin, who posted Idaho's lowest score in 28 of 33 rounds as a junior in 2017-18, led the team in two of the three rounds on his way to tying for 15th, individually.
Marin improved upon his performance at the same tournament last season. At the 2017 Ram Masters, Marin shot 4-over to tie for 23rd, his first of seven top-25 finishes last year.
Klaus Ganter shot 75 in each of the three rounds to post Idaho's second-best score of the week at 15-over 225. Ganter finished in a tie for 67th. He was followed by two Vandal newcomers. Freshman
Colt Sherrell and junior college transfer
