PULLMAN, Wash. – The local rivalry is back tomorrow night, with Idaho soccer (2-3-0) making the quick trip across the border to take on No. 17 Washington State (4-0-0) at 7 p.m. on the Lower Soccer Field.

LAST TIME OUT: Idaho defeated Vermont, 1-0, at the Montana Invitational on Sunday.  Anna Rose Wiencek netted the game-winner with her head late in the first half, with Hadley Sbrega picking up the assist.  It was also the first shutout of the year for the Vandals.
 
MATCHUP: Idaho is 1-11-0 all-time against WSU.  The teams last faced on August 24, 2015, in Pullman, with the Cougars winning 3-1.  Idaho's current group of seniors were freshmen that year.
 
Idaho has faced a ranked WSU team twice in program history.  The first came on October 5, 2007, when the No. 25 ranked Cougars came to Moscow and took a 4-0 result.  The second came on August 21, 2009, with the Vandals falling in Pullman, 3-0.
 
RANKINGS: The Vandals haven't faced a ranked opponent since the last time they faced a ranked WSU team, in 2009.  Last year, Memphis came to Moscow receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Poll.
