FASTBREAK
- Idaho fell short, 82-79, at Montana Saturday. The Vandals drop to 4-2 in the league and sit at No.4 in the standings.
- Taylor Pierce collected a 28-point performance on 10-of-22 and 8-of-15 shooting from the floor and three-point line, respectively.
- Mikayla Ferenz posted a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double in the loss for her first of the season and fifth in her career.
- Lizzy Klinker recorded season-high 14 points and seven points against the Griz.
- Thursday's game is the first home game for the Vandals since Jan 5.
SCOUTING THE HORNETS
- It will be the 14th meeting between the two teams. The Vandals lead the all-time series with the Hornets, 9-4.
- A season ago, Sacramento State took a 101-66 loss home on Feb 3, 2018. The last time the Vandals lost a home contest against the Hornets was in 2015. The home series is 5-1, Idaho.
- Hornets are led by junior guard, Hannah Friend, who averages 19.5 points and 8.1 rebounds per game in 37 minutes.
- The Hornets also sees offensive production from two other players who average double-figure points.
