MOSCOW, Idaho – Swedish standout Linnea Jerlebo signed a national letter of intent to join Idaho women's golf, head coach Lisa Johnson announced Thursday. Jerlebo will begin her Vandal career in the fall, as a freshman.
 
Currently the 14th-ranked Swede in her age division, Jerlebo trains at Barseback Golf and Country Club in the Skane province of Sweden. She led the Barseback Junior Team to three consecutive appearances at the Swedish Junior Team Championship in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Jerlebo was also a member of the Barseback Women's Elite Team that took third at the Swedish Team Championship.
 
Individually, Jerlebo has two wins and two runner-up finishes at high-level events that last four years. In 2015, she was one of 10 girls age 13-15, selected to a Swedish National Team camp. The following year she took seventh at the Skandia Cup Final – the national championship for 16-year-old girls.
