MOSCOW, Idaho— Coming off a weekend sweep at home over Sacramento State and Portland State, the Idaho women's basketball team looks to continue its momentum on the road, heading south for a matchup against Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. The Vandals will face the Lumberjacks of NAU on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. PT before a Saturday afternoon meeting with the SUU Thunderbirds. - Idaho picked up its sixth Big Sky win on Saturday knocking off Portland State in a tight finish, 80-78.
- It was a balanced effort as Mikayla Ferenz (17.0), Taylor Pierce (15.5), Gina Marxen (15.0) and Lizzy Klinker (14.5) averaged double figures in the last two games.
- Idaho leads the all-time series, 18-9, over the Lumberjacks.
- The Vandals have won its last two meetings, with the most recent win by the score of 93-83 on Feb 28, 2018, at the Walkup Skydome.
SCOUTING THE LUMBERJACKS
- Northern Arizona holds a 6-12 record on the season with a 2-7 performance in the Big Sky.
- The Lumberjacks snapped a five-game losing streak after defeating Southern Utah, 78-69, Monday.
- NAU has three players averaging double-figures in points. Kaleigh Paplow paces the Lumberjacks with 14.6 ppg followed by Khiarica Rasheed (11.1), and Lauren Orndoff (10.1).
