Road Trip to Bozeman Thursday

MOSCOW, Idaho—
Idaho Women's basketball team (6-7, 3-1) looks to bounce back into the win column in Big Sky Conference play on Thursday when the Vandals face Montana State (8-6, 3-1) at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse at 6 p.m. PDT.  Fans can watch live on PlutoTV, follow live stats or listen to Doug Taylor at GoVandals.com/Listen.

FASTBREAK
  • The Vandals picked up an 86-72 loss versus Northern Colorado on Saturday night, getting its first loss of the conference season.
  • The Splash Sisters enjoyed a career night, each reaching career-highs in points scored. Mikayla Ferenz had a game-high 28 points, which aided her in becoming the second player in Idaho women's basketball history to surpass the 2,000 career-points mark. Ferenz ended the game with 2,008 points on her career.
  • Taylor Pierce collected 20 points, which helped her to surpass the 1,500 career-points threshold. She ended with 1,504 points on her career.
  • Ferenz paces the Vandals 22.4 points, making her 8th in the nation while Pierce leads the conference in 3-point field goals made with 46. Natalie Klinker checks in at fifth in the conference for rebounding (7.9).
  • In 12 games, Idaho averages 73.8 points per game in nine contests, ranking second in the conference for scoring offense. The Vandals are shooting 40.8 percent (4th in Big Sky) from the floor and 34.6 percent for the three (1st in Big Sky).

SCOUTING THE BOBCATS
  • The Bobcats lead the all-time series over the Vandals, 34-17. Last season, Idaho beat the Bobcats twice, once in Bozeman, 95-77, and again in the first round of the Big Sky Conference Tournament, 78-74.
  • Montana State picked up a road win Saturday against Sacramento State, 69-53.
  • The Bobcats have three players averaging double figures, led by Claire Lundberg's 18.9 points per game.
