MOSCOW, Idaho – Taylor Brust scored on a screamer from 50 yards out, but Idaho (3-11-2, 0-4-2 BSC) lost, 2-1, to Northern Arizona (7-6-2, 3-2-1 BSC) on Friday evening.

The Lumberjacks would get on the board early, when Sam Larberg scored off a Tatum Heeres assist in the 10th minute.

In the 60th minute the Vandals evened the score. After a foul on NAU, Brust lined up to take the free kick. Lumberjack goalkeeper Taryn Benham could not hold on as the junior scored her first goal of the season.

However, in the 72nd minute, Northern Arizona would retake the lead for good. Emma Robson scored a headed goal off a Rylie Curran corner kick to put the visitors up, 2-1.

Julia Byerlein made two saves in goal.

The Vandals are back in action on Sunday to close out the home schedule. The Senior Day match against Southern Utah is set to kick off at noon.
