MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho men's basketball team is finally back in action, with the Vandals taking on Central Washington in an exhibition game at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening in Memorial Gym. Tickets are $12.
Guard Trevon Allen will look to lead the squad, returning for his senior season after leading the Vandals in scoring (14.0 ppg) a year ago. Junior Scott Blakney also returns after tallying 7.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in 2018-19.
Tuesday night will be the first chance for Vandal fans to see the large group of talented newcomers – a mix of freshmen and transfers – that interim head coach Zac Claus has brought to Idaho.
Following Tuesday's exhibition against the Wildcats, Idaho will play Lewis-Clark State College in a final exhibition game on October 29. The regular season begins at home against Evergreen State College on November 5. The Vandals will play 15 home contests, including the Battle of the Palouse on Wednesday, December 4.
