SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Volleyball is on to the rematch portion of the schedule as Idaho (11-11, 7-3 BSC) travels to Sacramento State (11-12, 6-4 BSC) and Portland State (8-13, 4-6 BSC).  The Vandals will take on the Hornets at 7 p.m. on Thursday, then will face the Vikings at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

LAST MEETING: Idaho earned the weekend sweep of Portland State and Sacramento State to open conference play.  Kennedy Warren was strong, recording 14 kills in each match.
 
The Vandals earned the sweep to open the season against the Vikings.  Things were close, as Idaho won by an average of just 2.7 points per set.  The match with Sacramento State went the distance.  After falling behind, 2-1, the Vandals recovered to win the fourth, 25-22.  The fifth was all-Vandals, as Idaho got the win, 15-5.
 
BIG SKY: Idaho sits in second in the Big Sky standings at 7-3.  Northern Colorado leads the league at 9-1.  Idaho will get another shot at UNC in two weeks.  The Vandals don't have much room to breathe in the standings, with Weber State, Northern Arizona and Sacramento State right behind at 6-4.
 
BIG SKY STATS: Idaho continues to dominate the league in blocks, averaging 3.01 blocks per set in conference play.  Kyra Palmbush leads the league in conference play as an individual at 1.42 blocks per set.
 
DEFENDING CHAMPS: Idaho tied for the conference lead last season, earning its first Big Sky Championship since rejoining the league.  The Vandals finished the regular season at 15-3 and took the No. 2 seed into the Big Sky Tournament.
 
NEXT: Idaho returns home for two straight weeks in Memorial Gym, first against Montana on Thursday, Nov. 7.
