MOSCOW, Idaho– Big Sky play continues on Sunday in Cheney when Idaho (3-8-1, 0-1-1 BSC) takes on Eastern Washington (3-5-2, 0-0-1 BSC) at 1 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT: Idaho earned a draw against Northern Colorado, 1-1.  The Bears took over with 88^th minute, but Juliana deTar saved the day for the Vandals with 11 seconds remaining to force overtime and ultimately steal the point.
 
JUJU IS CLUTCH: Juliana deTar has shown a knack for late-game situations over the last two weeks.  Against North Dakota, deTar netted the game winner in the 89^th minute, after UND had tied the game up just over three minutes prior.  She saved her best work for even later the following week, against Northern Colorado.  On that occasion, deTar's goal came with just 11 seconds left to force overtime.
 
THEY'RE SMART TOO: Idaho was recognized by United Soccer Coaches this week as a recipient of the Team Academic Award.  The Vandals were on of six Big Sky programs to be recognized, and posted the highest 2018-19 GPA in the conference at 3.61.
 
SERIES HISTORY: Idaho is just 13-11-1 all-time against Eastern Washington.  Last year, Idaho got the 1-0 win in the Kibbie Dome on a header from Kelly Dopke.  Over the last five meetings, the teams are 2-2-1 against each other, with each scoring five total goals.
 
COMMON OPPONENTS: Idaho and EWU have faced a number of common opponents in 2019, and seen remarkably similar results.  Both took on Boise State during the opening weekend, with Idaho falling 1-0 and EWU losing 5-2.  Both squads also lost to Mississippi State, with Idaho falling 2-1 and EWU losing 1-0.  Idaho and EWU each defeated CSU Bakersfield by one and drew with Northern Colorado, 1-1.
 
NEXT: The Vandals will hit the road to face Weber State on Oct. 11, and Idaho State on Oct. 13.
