SEATTLE, Wash. – Idaho women's golf slipped to 11
th in the team standings on Wednesday in some tough conditions at the UW Edean Ihlanfeldt Invite.
Tuesday's second round was canceled due to rain. Play was challenging on Wednesday, with only three players shooting par or better on the day. Idaho shot a combined
Eddie Hsu was Idaho's top finisher, in a tie for 26
th. Hsu got out to a slow start in the second round but recovered to finish at 10-over for the round and 13-over for the tournament.
Valeria Patino and
Vicky Tsai tied for 31
st at 14-over for the tournament. Pitino shot an 8-over 80 in the second round, which tied for the team-lead. Tsai went 11-over on Wednesday.
Laura Gerner rose four places on the leaderboard after shooting 8-over on Wednesday. She finished 43
rd overall.
Sacramento State's Nishtha Madan won the tournament by four strokes at even par. She closed out with a tournament-leading 70 in the second round.
