This will be the 17th time all-time the Vandals have faced the Redhawks and the seventh time on the road.
SCOUTING IDAHO
Idaho enters its third road contest of the season against Seattle 2-1 on the season after a 66-60 over San Francisco on the road.
The Vandals were led by
Gina Marxen who totaled 19 points in the contest on 5-9 shooting from three-point range. Idaho featured four starters scoring in double-figures in the win.
After the 19 point performance, Marxen now leads the Vandals on scoring on the season with 11.3 point per game on average.
On the boards, three Vandals lead the way.
Beyonce Bea,
Natalie Klinker and
Allison Kirby have all totaled 21 rebounds this season, an average of 7.0 per game. Despite the balanced rebounding, Idaho has been outrebounded in two of its first three games this season.
SCOUTING SEATTLE
Seattle enters its fifth game of the season 1-3 on the season, seeking a second win at home. The Redhawks have dropped three consecutive road matches but are 1-0 at home this season, with the lone win coming against Saint Martin's 91-81.
Seattle is coming off an 88-80 road loss to Northern Arizona last weekend.
Kamira Sanders is leading the way for the Redhawks this season offensively with 24 points per game. Sanders is shooting 43 percent from the field and 32 percent from beyond-the-arc.
Sanders and Maddy Phillips leads Seattle on the boards with 6.3 points per game. However, as a team the Redhawks are averaging just 38.5 rebounds a game.
Last season Seattle finished 3-27 overall and was picked to finish eight in the WAC Preseason coaches' poll.
LAST TIME OUT
Idaho last faced Seattle on December 15th, 2018 in Moscow, Idaho. The Vandals fell to the Redhawks 68-60.
Mikayla Ferenz led the Vandals with 21 points in the loss, while Isabelle Hadden chipped in 13 points as a sophomore. Seattle outshot the Vandals from the floor 38.6 percent to 30.9 percent, and from the charity stripe 91.7 percent to 57.9 percent.
