FARMINGTON, Utah –
Nikki Ball and
Kennedy Warren have been recognized by the league, earning All-Big Sky Conference Second Team honors. The Vandals look to Sacramento next, for the 2019 Big Sky Conference Volleyball Tournament.
Ball recorded the fourth most blocks in the league, averaging 1.13 blocks per set on the season. She also finished sixth in the Big Sky in hitting percentage at .316. Ball recorded a career-best 15 blocks against Montana.
Warren finished the season ranked eighth in the conference at 3.15 kills per set. She hit .246 for the year, and added 78 total blocks. Her best match of the season came at Sacramento State, when she recorded 25 kills while hitting .488.
The Vandals finished the season in sixth in the Big Sky standings at 9-9. Idaho gets started in Sacramento at the 2019 Big Sky Conference Volleyball Championship on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. against Northern Arizona. The Vandals split the season series with the Lumberjacks.
