MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Track & Field program is thrilled to announce the signing of Franziska Stöhr of Landau, Germany. Stöhr is a national level competitor in Germany and a very talented hurdler and sprinter.

Stöhr has consistently placed high at national compeÂtitions in Germany. She placed seventh at the 2019 German NaÂtional U20 Championships in the 400m hurdles. She was also part of a 3 x 800m team that placed fifth at the U20 National ChamÂpionships during the indoor season. Stöhr also placed first in the Baden-Wurttemberg Championships in the 400m hurdles. She also placed first in the 800m at the Baden Championships indoors this last year.

Stöhr has a personal best of 62.29 in the 400m hurÂdles, which would have ranked 11th in the Big Sky Conference last season. She also has a personal bests of 25.36 in the 200m and 57.56 in the 400m. Stöhr will be in position to immediÂately contribute in the 400m hurdles and relays right away for the Vandals as she takes her talents to the United States and the NCAA.
