SCOUTING IDAHO
Idaho enters its second conference game of the season against Weber State Monday night 6-4 on the season and 1-0 in Big sky Conference play following a 62-56-win over Idaho State on Saturday.
Beyonce Bea leads the Vandals in scoring, averaging 12.8 points this season and in rebounds 6.3 per game. Bea also totaled 16 points, seven rebounds, two blocks, and two steals against Idaho state on Saturday. Bea is also shooting 46 percent from field-goal range which leads the Big Sky.
Gina Marxen joined Bea in leading the Vandals offense on Saturday, also scoring 16 points. Marxen finished 4-8 from three-point range. The sophomore is averaging 12.4 points per game this season and is leading in assists with 3.7. Maren is also shooting 32.6 percent from three-point range at a rate of 2.8 per game, which leads the Big Sky.
Marxen and Bea are part of three Vandals averaging double-digit offensively this season.
Lizzy Klinker is scoring an average of 11.1 points per game and scored four points against Idaho State.
Caitlyn Jones,
Isabelle Hadden,
Hailey Christopher, and
Allison Kirby are leading the Vandals from the bench. Jones is averaging 6.4 points per game off the bench with 1.3 three-pointers made per game while Hadden is averaging 5.5 points per game including two double-figure games this season from the bench. Christopher leads the Vandals' strong defensive effort, averaging one steal and one block per game to go along with 4.5 points and 4.0 rebounds.
Allison Kirby has been as well this season for the Vandals, while Kirby has mainly been a force off the bench, she started and played 33 minutes against Idaho State and totaled 12 points, nine rebounds, and three assists. Kirby is averaging a career-high 4.5 rebounds per game this season.
Idaho leads the Big Sky Conference defensively, holding its opponents to 58.1 points per game. The Vandals are holding opposing teams to a conference-best 34.2 percent field-goal percentage as well as a conference-best 21.8 percent three-point percentage. In addition, Idaho and Montana each lead the Big Sky in defensive rebounding with an average of 28.7 per game.
SCOUTING WEBER STATE
Weber State enters its second Big Sky Conference game of the season following a 63-53 loss to Eastern Washington on Saturday. With the loss Weber has dropped two games in a row and is 2-8 overall on the season. The Wildcats enter the road game just 1-7 on the year away from Ogden.
Liz Graves leads Weber State with 14 points per game followed by Ula Chamberlin with 10.5 per game.
Ciara James leads the Wildcats on the boards with an average of 6.8 per game.
Graves has recorded to 20+ point games in the last three games with 26 against Utah Valley and 21 against Utah.
Weber State has had success shooting from beyond-the-arc this season. The Wildcats are shooting 32.9 percent from three-point range, fifth best in the Big Sky.

The Wildcats and Vandals last met on March 7
th, 2019 in Cowan-Spectrum Arena winning 86-78.
Idaho leads the series all-time 24-21 and is 14-6 at home. The Vandals have won two games in a row in the series. The last time Idaho lost to the Wildcats at home was February 24
th, 2018, 88-105. Idaho is 8-2 over Weber State in the last 10 meetings and has only lost twice at home since 1994.
The longest win streak in the series belongs to the Vandals who won seven consecutive game between 1984-87.
