Idaho State Champion Joins the Vandals

MOSCOW, Idaho
– The University of Idaho Track & Field program is excited to announce the signing of Victoria Rae of Bon­ners Ferry High School in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Rae is one of the top throwers in the Northwest who has a lot of potential.
 
Rae is a two-time Idaho State Champion. She won the shot put at the Idaho State Track & Field Championships as a junior and as a sophomore. She also placed third at the state meet in the shot as a freshman. She has a personal best of 40 feet 4.5 inches in the shot put. She also excels in the discus. She placed second at the state meet in the discus as a sophomore and quali­fied for the state meet as a junior and freshman as well. Rae has a personal best of 128 feet and 11 inches in the discus.
 
Rae has also been an incredible volleyball player during her time at Bonners Ferry HS. Starting for three years, she earned All-League her junior and se­nior years. She was also the MVP for Bonners Ferry as a junior and team captain as a senior. Rae is also a strong student earning honor roll every semester of her high school career and was recognized by the Idaho Top Scholar's program for her outstanding academic achieve­ments.
