FASTBREAK
- Idaho looks to avenge an 86-72 stumble at home against the Bears in their first meeting on Jan. 5.
- The Vandals are coming off of a 6-0 winning streak after downing Montana State at home, 90-65.
- The Splash Sisters combined for 56 points of the Vandal's 90 points in that game. Mikayla Ferenz posted 32 points while Taylor Pierce recorded 24. Lizzy Klinker owned the boards with 13 rebounds.
- Before her 32-point performance, Ferenz was honored before the game as she became the highest scoring player, male or female, in Vandal basketball history.
SCOUTING THE BEARS
- Northern Colorado dropped to No 3. in league play after 1-1 week. The Bears fell to Portland State earlier in the week but was able to recover against Sacramento State in 71-61 victory.
- The Bears are one of the four teams vying for the coveted league title. With a 10-3 record, the team sits together with Idaho State at the No. 2 spot in conference standings.
- Savannah Smith leads the Bears averaging 20.1 points per game and is coming off her fifth 30-point performance in this past week's action. Ali Meyer leads UNCO off the glass as she averages 11.3 rebounds per game.
