MOSCOW, Idaho – Fresh off an impressive first year in charge, head coach
Jeremy Clevenger and the whole Idaho soccer team are excited to announce the spring schedule. The Vandals will play five games in total, including three in Moscow.
The spring season gets going on Saturday, March 23, at Washington State, before a quick trip up to Spokane to play Gonzaga on Sat., March 30.
The home schedule gets underway two weeks later, beginning with Western Washington at 1 p.m. on Sat., April 13. The Vandals host Central Washington on Sat., April 20 at noon, and close out the spring schedule on Sat., April 27, at 11:30 a.m. against Eastern Oregon.
As with all Idaho soccer games, admission to home contests will be free.
The Vandals had a great 2018 campaign under the first year head coach. Idaho finished 9-7-3, including a 6-1-2 mark in Big Sky play to finish second in the conference standings. In total, Idaho conceded just four goals in Big Sky play, earning seven shutouts in nine games. Clevenger and his staff have already been hard at work on the recruiting trail, signing one mid-year transfer and nine freshmen for the fall.
