Box Score FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Idaho's struggles continued on Thursday night as the Vandals dropped their 12
th straight, 75-54 at Northern Arizona.
THE GAME
The Lumberjacks built a lead early, forcing four quick Vandal turnovers. Idaho was able to chip back into the deficit with a 7-0 run, but NAU took over from there. NAU closed the first half with a 12-0 run of its own to build a 42-22 advantage at half.
The Vandals picked it up in the second half. Idaho shared the ball well, with eight different Vandals scoring. It would get as close as 15 early on, but NAU would go on to win, 75-54. Idaho protected the ball much better in the second half, committing just two turnovers to five by NAU.
THE NAME
Cameron Tyson. Tyson led the Vandals in scoring for the eighth time this season, finishing with 15 points. He connected on 5-of-11 from beyond the arc.
THE NOTES
Idaho falls to 4-22 on the season, 1-14 in Big Sky play. NAU moves to 9-17, 7-9 in the conference.
Rodriguez recorded his third double-double of his career, finishing with 11 points and 10 rebounds. All three have come on the road.
Tyson made five 3's for the seventh time this season, including three games with six 3's. Prior to Tyson, only once had a true freshman made five 3's in a game.
Idaho shot 35.7 percent (20-of-56) from the floor, to 48.3 percent (30-of-62) by NAU. The Vandals were outrebounded, 43-30.
Idaho used its 11
th different starting lineup of the season.

The Vandals close out the road trip in Cedar City, taking on Southern Utah at 1 p.m. Pacific on Saturday afternoon.
