FASTBREAK

• Idaho (17-9, 14-3 Big Sky) comes into the contest leading all teams in league standings after defeating Portland State on Thursday, 81-68.
• Mikayla Ferenz rewrites Big Sky history as she became the all-time leader in women's basketball with 2,298 points.
• Five Vandals posted double figures in Thursday's road test with Taylor Pierce leading all scorers with 22 points. Freshman Gina Marxen added 17 points while Mikayla notched 14 points with eight assists. Lizzy Klinker and Isabelle Hadden put up 12 and 10 points, respectively.
• Idaho holds the rank of No. 1 in the nation for three-pointers made per game with 11.8. Gina Marxen joins the Splash Sisters in the conference ranks with Pierce holding the top spot in threes made per game.  Ferenz sits at No. 3 while Marxen breaks the top 10 at No. 6.
• The two squads faced off earlier this season in Moscow. The Vandals scored over 100 points for the first time in the regular season, beating the Hornets 104-66.

SCOUTING THE HORNETS

• Sacramento State (10-15, 6-11 Big Sky) comes into the contest having lost its last two games.
• The Hornets trail in the all-time series 10-4 with Idaho winning the last two games.
• Hannah Friend paces the Hornets with 19.2 points per game while Kennedy Nicholas follows with 14 points.
• Nicholas averages 11.4 boards per game.

2019 BIG SKY WOMEN'S BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 2019 Big Sky Men's and Women's Basketball Championships presented by My Place Hotels are set to take place March 11-16 at CenturyLink Arena in Boise, Idaho.
 
The women's tournament will be held March 11-13, 15 while the men's championship will take place March 13-16.
