IDAHO NOTES | PLUTOTV CH. 242 | LIVE AUDIO | LIVE STATS

MOSCOW, Idaho
— Finishing how you start is the test for the Vandals as the team welcomes Idaho State to Moscow on Saturday afternoon to close out the regular season. It is a must-win test for the Vandals to claim its first outright Big Sky regular-season title since 1985 and No. 1 seeding for the conference tournament. Doug Taylor has the call at GoVandals.com/Listen and fans can also watch live on Pluto TV or follow live stats at GoVandals.com.

FASTBREAK
  • It's Senior Day for the Vandals' two seniors, who is arguably the best duo to ever play at Idaho, Mikayla Ferenz and Taylor Pierce.
  • Ferenz and Pierce, The Splash Sisters, rank among the best in the nation and have become Idaho's all-time offensive threat in career points and three-pointers, respectively.
  • Idaho enters the final weekend of the regular season with a one-game advantage in the Big Sky standings.
  • On Thursday Idaho survived the Wildcats, 86-78, to clinch a share of the conference title. To claim the title outright, the Vandals would need to defeat Idaho State Saturday or one loss from Northern Colorado this weekend.
  • The win would also give the Vandals the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament.

SCOUTING THE BENGALS
  • Idaho leads the Bengals 31-12 in the all-time series and has proved to be dominant at home versus ISU with an 18-2 edge.
  • Last time against Idaho State, the Vandals beat the Bengal on their home floor, 86-72, to open the conference season back in December.
  • Idaho State's record stand as 19-9 on the overall season and 14-5 in league play. They have an 8-5 road record.
  • In conference play, Idaho State is shooting 45.4 percent from the floor, 38.4 percent from three and 64.7 percent from the free-throw line. They have allowed opponents 33.4 percent shooting and 55.3 points per contest.

PROMOTION
The Idaho Central Credit Union Battle of the Domes is back in Moscow. The yearlong competition pits Idaho and Idaho State against each other in football, men's and women's basketball, women's soccer and women's volleyball. Each head-to-head competition carries a point value for the winning team. The athletic department that earns the most points at the end of the academic year will be awarded the Battle of the Domes traveling trophy and a donation to their scholarship fund from ICCU. Idaho State leads the series 40-30, but the Idaho women's hoops have one up on the Bengals.
