MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Track & Field program is thrilled to announce the commitment of Keeley RasmusÂsen of Sandy High School in Oregon.
Â
Rasmussen has had a stellar career at Sandy High School and throwing with the Super Throwers Track Club. She placed fifth at the Oregon State Track & Field ChamÂpionships as a junior in the discus. She also placed secÂond at the USATF Oregon Junior Olympic Championships in the hammer in 2018. As a sophomore she placed third in the Oregon State Championships in the discus and fifth in the shot put. Her freshman year she placed fourth in the state meet in the discus.

She has impressive personal bests with marks of 165' 5.5" in the hammer, 143' 10" in the discus, 47' 6.5" in the weight throw, and 42' 10.5" in the shot put.

Rasmussen will compete at the Oregon State Track & Field Championship this week near her hometown at Mt. Hood Community College. Rasmussen qualified in the discus and the shot put. She is currently ranked fourth in the shot put and eighth in the discus in the state of Oregon among all classifications.
