RESULTS
SPOKANE, Wash. – Idaho closed out the regular season on Saturday at the Spokane Memorial Series with a number of first place finishes. The Vandals will next take on the rest of the conference at the Big Sky Championships in Missoula, Mont., next weekend.

Kara Story and
Krista Story finished 1-2 in the 800-meters and moved into the top-10 in the Big Sky in the event.Â
Kara Story won at 2:12.42 and
Krista Story took second in 2:12.73.Â
Jordyn Rauer won the triple jump with a season-best leap of 11.83 meters (38-9.75).Â
Lauren Curlanis placed second at 10.82 meters (35-6.00).

Dean Ellenwood got the win in the 800-meters with a time of 1:52.84, his fastest time of the season, to move into the top-8 in the Big Sky.Â
Josiah Anderson had a huge personal-best in the event to take third at 1:53.83.

Mack Baxter won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 53.16 seconds. He is currently ranked fourth in the Big Sky in the event.Â
Cole Alteneder finished third with a personal-best time of 54.20.Â
Skylar Ovnicek and
Drew Schultz took the top two spots in the 3000-meter steeplechase. Ovnicek won the event in 10:02.82 and Schultz took second in 10:04.10, both personal bests.

Ed Hall placed second in the discus with a personal-best throw of 48.27 meters (158-4).Â
Makenna Behrens finished third in the javelin with a personal-best throw of 41.85 meters (137-4).

Next up for Idaho are the Big Sky Championships in Missoula, Mont., next weekend.
