MOSCOW, Idaho – Interim head men's basketball coach Zac Claus sat with the local media on Wednesday afternoon in his first media availability since taking over the program.  Claus addressed the state of the program, the new roster and schedule updates for the 2019-20 season.
 
"My message would be, any support that can be given to our guys, we would take in a heartbeat," Claus said.  "Our guys will be out in the community doing various things that we'll prioritize once they get back to school, but just know that they're really good kids.  They take care of their schoolwork, they come from wonderful families and they're going to compete their tails off for the Vandals.  We look forward to a great year."
 

 
Claus took over the program on June 14.  Classes resume on Aug. 26.
