BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – It's back to business for Idaho soccer (0-1-0) with a quick trip out to California to take on CSU Bakersfield (1-0-0) on Sunday at 6 p.m.

LAST MEETING: Idaho and CSU Bakersfield have not met since the 2016 season, a 3-2 loss in Bakersfield.Â
Morgan Crosby and
Myah Merino are the only two current Vandals who appeared in that game.

SEASON OPENER: 2,169 fans came out to the Dome to Black Out the Broncos on Friday night, marking the second highest attendance in program history. Boise State came out on top in the end, scoring on a penalty kick early in the first half.

THE TEAM: The Vandals return 15 letterwinners, including seven starters, from last year's squad that went 6-1-2 in Big Sky play to finish second overall. Head coach
Jeremy Clevenger and his staff have also bolstered the lineup in the offseason, adding 12 newcomers to the mix.

NEXT: Up next Idaho returns home to take on Oregon Tech on Friday night, before hosting Mississippi State on Sunday afternoon.
