WOMEN'S RESULTS | MEN'S RESULTS
CHENEY, Wash. – The cross country season is up and running, with both of Idaho's squads taking third at the annual Clash of the Inland Northwest, this year held in Cheney.

The women were locked in a battle with Gonzaga and Montana. Gonzaga edged out the win with 43 points, with Montana taking second with 46. Idaho was right there, finishing in third with 52 points. The women got great contributions from across the board, including a pair of freshmen scoring.

Freshman
Kelsey Swenson led the way for the Vandals, finishing second overall with a time of 14:18.1. Sophomore
Nathalia Campos took third overall at 14:26.4

Krista Story and
Faith Dilmore finished in 14
th and 15
th, respectively. Story finished in 14:52.2, while Dilmore was right behind in 14:54.8.Â
Elise Abbott closed out the scorers for the Vandals, finishing in 18
th in her first collegiate race with a time of 15:00.06.

The Gonzaga men took the team title in dominant fashion, with a perfect score. Idaho took second overall with 67 points. Contrary to the women's squad, the men were led by the veterans, with four seniors scoring.

Dwain Stucker paced the men and finished in 11
th with a time of 18:08.6.Â
Tim Stevens and
Drew Schultz were close behind. Stevens finished in 13
th at 18:12.2, while Schultz took 15
th at 18:16.2.

Grayson Ollar finished 24
th with a time of 18:33.0.Â
Josiah Anderson was the final scorer in 27
th at 18:36.8.
