MOSCOW, Idaho – Fresh off of a convincing victory, Idaho soccer (2-1-0) is back in action on Sunday afternoon, taking on Mississippi State (2-1-0) at 3 p.m. in the Kibbie Dome.

LAST TIME OUT: Idaho dominated Oregon Tech, 3-0.
Maddie Haas got the game-winner for the second consecutive game, scoring in the 22
nd minute.
Emmy Moore and
Trinity Paulsen also got in on the action, scoring their first collegiate goals. The goalkeeper duo of
Avrie Fox and
Julia Byerlein picked up the team shutout.
SEC IN THE PNW: The game marks the first time that a Southeastern Conference opponent will make its way to Moscow for a single-game meeting with the Vandals. The only other time a current SEC opponent made the trip to Moscow for a team sport came in 2014, when Missouri attended the Idaho Nike Invitational in Memorial Gym.
It is also the first ever meeting between Idaho soccer and an SEC opponent, regardless of location.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Avrie Fox had an exceptional first weekend of college soccer. She made seven total saves and picked up a shutout at CSUB. She allowed just one goal, on a penalty kick, and was named the Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week.
