MOSCOW, Idaho– Big Sky play gets started on Friday night in the Kibbie Dome for Idaho soccer (3-7-0) with Montana (1-5-3) coming to town for a 7 p.m. kickoff.

LAST TIME OUT: Idaho defeated former conference foe, North Dakota, 2-1, on Sunday.  The Vandals got on the board first, with Emmy Moore scoring her second goal of the season on a corner kick.  North Dakota battled back and was able to tie things up in the 85^th minute.  Juliana deTar was the hero in the end, scoring with two minutes to play in regulation to seal the win.
 
BIG SKY: Big Sky play is finally here.  Through non-conference play, only Sacramento State has more wins than Idaho.  The Hornets went 6-1-2 and are the only team above .500 on the year.  Eastern Washington and Northern Arizona have three wins each, the same as Idaho.
 
GOALS ARE COMING: After a two-week scoreless drought, the Vandals have bounced back on the offensive end.  The Vandals went four games without a goal, but have scored three times over the last two matches.
 
SERIES HISTORY: Idaho is just 7-8-1 all-time against Montana, but has been successful in recent seasons.  Last year, the Vandals and the Grizzlies drew, 1-1, after a late penalty got Montana on the board.
 
COMMON OPPONENTS: Both squads took on North Dakota, with Idaho winning 2-1 on Sunday and Montana earning the 0-0 tie in the season-opener.  Montana was scheduled to play UC Santa Barbara the same weekend as Idaho, but the game was called off due to lightning.
 
NEXT: The Vandals will stick around town to take on Northern Colorado at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
