MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandals travel to Montana to play the Griz on Saturday evening. The game in Dahlberg Arena is scheduled to tipoff at 6 p.m. pacific time.

SCOUTING THE GRIZZLIES (9-8, 5-1 BSC)): Montana finished the nonconference season 4-7, but have begun Big Sky play 5-1, leaping into first place in the league.

Most recently, the Griz took down Portland State, 85-70. Kendal Manuel led UM with 27 points, while Sayeed Pridgett had 17 points, 10 assists, and eight boards.

Overall, Montana scores 67.4 ppg, led by Pridgett with 18.8 ppg. Pridgett also leads the squad in rebounding, pulling down 7.6 boards per game. Manuel (15.1 ppg) also averages double figure scoring.

LAST TIME OUT: The Vandals dropped another close conference game, 78-75, to Eastern Washington. Trevon Allen led the team with 23 points, and joined the 1000 point club with the effort.

SERIES HISTORY: Idaho leads the all-time series with Montana, 114-85. The teams have each won five games since the Vandals rejoined the BSC.

1000 POINT CLUB: Trevon Allen joined the 1000 point club with a three-pointer against Eastern Washington (Jan. 17). The senior is the 17th Vandal in school history to reach the benchmark. Allen now sits at 1022 career points, which is 16th in school history.  

KNIFE'S EDGE: In four of the Vandals' five conference games this year, the game has been decided by three points or fewer. Despite being 1-4 in BSC play, the Vandals have a +2 scoring margin.
