FARMINGTON, Utah – For his performance at the Tyson Invitational, Grady Leonard has been named the Big Sky Conference Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

At the meet, hosted by the University of Arkansas, Leonard took third in the shot put. His mark of 18.27m/63-11.05 is his season's best and puts him second on the Big Sky performance list behind only teammate Zachary Short.

Leonard also was fourth in the weight throw with a mark of 18.27m/63-11.05. He was just under his season's best which is currently sixth in the BSC.

The Vandals will next compete at the Big Sky Indoor Championships February 27-29 in Pocatello, Idaho.
