MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandals are set for the Big Sky Championships. The Vandals earned the No. 10 seed and will play No. 7 Southern Utah on Wednesday at approximately 12 p.m. mountain time/11 a.m. pacific time.

SCOUTING THE THUNDERBIRDS (16-15, 9-11 BSC): Since meeting the Vandals, Southern Utah is 1-1, with a 73-65 loss to Montana State, and an overtime win against Montana.
Most recently, SUU defeated UM, 85-80, in overtime. The T-Birds had five players score in double figures, including Andre Adams (12 points, 12 rebounds) and Harrison Butler (17 points, 10 rebounds) who each had double-doubles.
As a team, SUU scored 72.7 ppg during the regular season while allowing 66.2 ppg. Cameron Oluyitan led the squad in scoring, averaging 13.4 ppg, while Adams led the team in rebounding, pulling down 6.5 boards per game.
SCOUTING THE VANDALS (8-23, 4-16 BSC): Idaho is led by
Trevon Allen who scores 21.1 ppg, which is second most in the Big Sky and 17th in the country.
Quinton Forrest leads the Vandals in rebounding, pulling down 5.5 boards per game.
LAST TIME OUT: The Vandals defeated Idaho State, 80-76, on Senior Day. Allen led Idaho with 33 points, while
Scott Blakney had a double-double (16 points, 13 rebounds).
SERIES HISTORY: Southern Utah leads the all-time series with Idaho 13-11. The Thunderbirds won both matchups this season, including a 87-55 win in Cedar City on Feb. 29.
1000 POINT CLUB: Trevon Allen joined the 1000 point club with a three-pointer against Eastern Washington (Jan. 17). The senior is the 17th Vandal in school history to reach the benchmark. Allen now sits at 1360 career points, which is eighth in school history. Â
