"I am so happy and excited for Mikayla to have the chance to coach with her parents," said Idaho women's basketball Head Coach
Jon Newlee. "She will be an awesome addition to the staff. The players at Whitman are extremely blessed to have the opportunity to learn from the greatest player ever at Idaho and the all-time leading scorer in the history of the Big Sky Conference. They couldn't have a better role model to follow both on and off the floor."
Whitman's season will begin on Jan. 22 with the regular season concluding on Feb. 27.
