Box Score MOSCOW, Idaho - The Idaho Vandals met with the undefeated Northern Colorado on Sunday afternoon for their last home game of the season and on Senior Day. Two goals by
Jadyn Hanks in the second half carried the team to victory, 3-2, possibly the Vandals' best comeback of the year.
In just the seventh minute, Olivia Seddon scored the Bears' first goal, giving their team the advantage. Not long too after in the 19th minute, the Vandals answered back and
Maddy Lasher scored her fourth goal of the season, assisted by
Alyssa Peters. The game remained tied, 1-1, until Colorado's Taylor Bray scored their second goal in the 30th minute.
Idaho really put on the pressure and came back in the second half. Hanks scored both in the 74th and the 76th minutes, with the first goal assisted by
Margo Schoesler. The Vandals' strong defense allowed the team to hold off Colorado and take the win, 3-2.
The Vandals are now 9-5-2.
Next Sunday, Oct. 24, Idaho will face Eastern Washington at 1 p.m. in Cheney.
