MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho volleyball team fell in three sets (21-25, 23-25, 20-25) to Northern Arizona on Saturday night at Memorial Gym.
Allison Munday had another double-digit night in kills with 13. Nikki Ball filed 12 more kills while teammate Hailey Pelton added 21 assists.
The Vandals off their second straight win from Thursday night looked determined to make it a third. The Idaho offense found success on the attack with 14 kills in the set but a 9-1 run by the Lumberjacks late would put away the Vandals, 25-21.  Â
A 7-1 run had Northern Arizona up early to begin set two. The Vandals battled back to tie the match up at 20 all, but NAU finished out the set with a 25-23 win.
The Lumberjacks defense forced nine attack errors in the final set of the night to help earn the match win, 25-20.
Idaho totaled 44 kills on the night with a .203 hitting percentage.
