MOSCOW, Idaho – The Vandal swim team fell to Washington State, 166-128, on Saturday morning at the Idaho Swim Center.
The dual meet got kicked off with an all-around solid performance from the Vandals in the 200-medley relay. 
Ani Husaby, 
Holly Keir, 
Rylie Jones, and 
Natalie Crocker clocked in at a time of 1:47.18 to earn a first-place finish.
Canada native 
Zoe Froh followed with another first-place finish in the 1000-freestyle with a time of 10:39.35.
Alexa Teneyck battled for second-place (1:56.70) in the 200-freestyle, while teammate R. Jones finished in 1:57.94 to place third in the event.
The 100-yard backstroke saw 
Kaling Phung and 
Morgan Votava clock in at 57.90 and 58.35 to earn second and third place.
R. Jones added another first-place finish to her name near the end of the meet, as she edged out Washington State swimmer by 0.50 seconds to take the top spot in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 57.29.
Washington State finished first in 11 of the 16 events to help cruise to a 166-128 victory.
