MOSCOW, Idaho - The University of Idaho Swim and Dive team returns to the UI Swim Center to host Grand Canyon on Saturday, November 13. The dual will begin at 10:00 a.m.
The Vandals come home to Moscow after a dominant 189-72 road win last weekend at Seattle University. Idaho was led by junior
Alexa Teneyck, sophomore's
Zoe Froh and
Ani Husaby, and freshman
Laura Fernandez-Rodriguez, who each won two individual events throughout the day. As a team, the Silver & Gold posted wins in 12 of the 14 total events, and also took second place in 10 events. With the victory, Idaho improved to 1-1 in WAC competition.
Grand Canyon, who will compete in a dual at Washington State on Friday in Pullman, enters the weekend 4-4 Overall, and 2-1 in WAC play. The Lopes are coming off of a two-day dual at Air Force last weekend, where they fell 216-155 to the Falcons, but swept the relay events and competed well while battling the high altitudes of Colorado Springs.
The meet will be live streamed on the Idaho Vandals Facebook page.
