SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Idaho women's cross country team finished 13th out of 35 teams and the men finished 13th out of 29 Friday at the NCAA West regional at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento.
Kelsey Swenson led the Vandals with a 30-place finish with a 6K time of 20:37.6.
Katja Pattis was 49th overall for the Idaho women with a time of 20:57.0. As a team, the Vandal women finished ahead of four Pac-12 teams and several other teams the from Mountain West, WCC and Big West.
John Peckham led the Vandals with a 70th-place finish and an 10K time of 31:17.6.
Tim Stevens finished 73rd with a time of 31:18.5. The Vandal men finished ahead of the a pair of Pac-12 schools.
The meet wraps up the season for Vandal Cross Country. The team now preps for the indoor track and field season.
