RENO, Nev. - San Francisco (4-1) used a strong second half to top the Vandals (1-3) 77-70 in the opening game of the Nugget Classic present by the University of Nevada Friday afternoon.

After a slow first quarter, the offense's picked up the pace in the second quarter. Idaho exploded for 28 points, turning a three point deficit into a four point halftime lead.
