MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho Vandals (0-1) fell, 3-0, to Oregon State (1-0) to open the 2020-21 season on Friday afternoon. The game was the first in 467 days for Idaho.

Oregon State got a shot off in the first minute of the match, but the first quarter hour was end-to-end. In the 19th minute, Brianna McReynolds had the ball in the Vandal box and dropped a pass back to Laura Galceran who scored to give the Beavers a 1-0 lead. In the 29th minute, Sydney Studer doubled the advantage, scoring off a corner kick.
