SEDONA, Ariz. – The University of Idaho women's golf team currently sits in a tie for 9
th place after the darkness delay at the end of the second round. Individually, junior
Valeria Patino leads the Vandals with a score 9-over. Play will resume tomorrow at 8 a.m. starting with resumption of the second round.

"We will play smarter off the tee and take advantage of our scoring opportunities," said head Coach
Lisa Ferrero heading into the final day on Sunday.

Patino's best round came later in the afternoon, where she fired in one birdie with one hole remaining in her second round. Patino is currently tied for 25
th with a total score of 9-over, 149. Graduate student
Laura Gerner caught fire early in morning, firing in three birdies on the back nine in her first round. Gerner is tied for 33
rd with a score of 10-over, 154.

Eddie Hsu and graduate student
Jaime Bellingham are tied for 47
th, just three strokes behind Gerner. Both Hsu and Bellingham tallied two birdies a piece in their second round and ended with a combined score of 13-over, 157. Junior
Vicky Tsai sits one stroke behind with a score of 14-over, 158 and is tied for 60
th.

Grand Canyon University has a nine-stroke lead for first place with a team score of 575. Individually, Payton Fehringer sits in first place on the individual leaderboard with a score of 133.
