FULL GAME NOTES
MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho women's soccer team welcomes Sacramento State for the final two home games of the season. The Vandals will host the Hornets in the Kibbie Dome on Friday, March 26, with kickoff set for 6 p.m. The two teams will meet again at noon on Sunday, March 28. Senior Day festivities will occur at the conclusion of the match on Sunday.
FOLLOW FROM HOME: Both games can be streamed live on PlutoTV Channel 1060. Live stats can be found at GoVandals.com/SOCStats. Friday kicks off at 6 p.m., while Sunday will begin at noon.
TICKETS:Â A limited number of tickets will be available on the day of the game. The ticket booth opens one hour before game time and tickets will be $10. Student tickets are available with valid student Vandal ID and can picked up at the west end ticket booth. Entry for all fans will be at Gate 4 on the northwest side of the Kibbie Dome. Thermal scanners will be in use and the clear bag policy will be enforced. All spectators must wear masks at all times and observe social distancing. No concessions will be available.
SCOUTING THE HORNETS (1-0-4, 0-0-2 BSC): Sacramento State opened the season with a 2-1 double overtime win over Saint Mary's. Since then they have tied four straight matches. Most recently, the Hornets finished in two scoreless draws with Eastern Washington. Four players have scored for the squad, while Aubrey Goodwill has two assists to lead the team. Goalkeeper Aaliyah Fesili has a 0.50 GAA, making 39 saves in 542 minutes. She is coming off a Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week award.
SCOUTING THE VANDALS (2-4-0, 2-2-0): Idaho most recently defeated Portland State, 5-0, in back-to-back games.
Kaysie Bruce leads the Vandals with four goals on the year while
Hannah Alfaro has two assists to lead the squad. Goalkeeper
Avrie Fox has a 1.35 GAA, making 15 saves in 534 minutes.
LAST TIME OUT
Idaho swept the season series with Portland State, winning both matches, 5-0.
Kaysie Bruce had a hat trick on Sunday and notched the game winner in both games. Other goal scorers included

Maddy Lasher (2),
Hadley Sbrega, and Ariel Lofton.
Avrie Fox earned both wins in goal, making six saves in 164 scoreless minutes.
SENIOR DAY
Sunday will be the final home game of the season and will be Senior Day for the strange 2020-21 season.
Hadley Sbrega will be honored following the match. An extra thank you is extended to
Myah Merino and
Taylor Brust, who had their Senior Days last season, but came back for an extra year with the Vandals.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kaysie Bruce was named the Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week on March 22. She scored four goals over the weekend, including a hat trick on Sunday. She had the game winner in both games. She now leads the conference with four goals. Bruce recorded the first hat trick for a Vandal player since Bridget Daley scored three in a 4-0 win over the Vikings in 2018 (Sept. 21).
GOALS ON GOALS
The Vandals 10 goals scored this season is second most in the conference. Only Eastern Washington (12) have more. The last time the Vandals scored at least five goals in consecutive games was in 2017 when they defeated Memphis, 5-4, and then Nevada, 6-0.
MOVING ON UP
Myah Merino's two goals this year puts her at 12 career goals. She now sits in a tie for eighth place on the Vandals' all-time scoring list.
NEXT UP: Following the two games with Portland State, the Vandals will host Sacramento State for a pair of games on March 26 and 28.
