MOLALLA, Ore. – The University of Idaho women's golf team is set to compete in the Big Sky Championship starting on Monday, April 19-21. This three-day event will be played at the Arrowhead Golf Club, with one round to be played each day.

THE COURSE – The Arrowhead Golf Club features a 6,154-yard course that will be played as a par-72 all three days.

THE FIELD – This 11-team field will feature all teams from the Big Sky, including Idaho, Eastern Washington, Idaho State, Montana, Montana State, Northern Arizona, Northern Colorado, Portland State, Sacramento State, Southern Utah, and Weber State.

THE LINEUP – Traveling to Molalla for the Vandals are graduate students
Laura Gerner and
Jaime Bellingham, senior
Valeria Patino, and juniors
Vicky Tsai and
Eddie Hsu.

COACH FERRERO ON THE TOURNAMENT – "The team is excited and ready to play. This is what they have been working on all year. We are focusing on limiting mistakes and hitting the center of the green to have more birdie opportunities. Our goal is to let it go and have fun."

LAST TIME ON THE GREEN – The last time on the course for the Vandals, the team placed in 12
th at the Cowgirl Classic with a team score of 54-over, 918. Individually, First Team All-Big Sky selection
Valeria Patino led the team, finishing in a tie for 31
st with a score of 10-over, 226.
