MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho outdoor track and field teams hosted the Idaho Invitational on Saturday at the Dan O'Brien Track and Field Complex. The meet was the only home meet for the Vandals this year.
"It was a good day. I thought we had a lot of solid performances especially considering the weather. None of the kids complained – they came out, ran hard, and competed well," said Director of Track and Field/Cross Country
Tim Cawley. "It's always nice to compete at home and have that opportunity. I'm glad the other teams were able to come out and compete as well. I can't thank enough our officials and volunteers that came out to help especially on a day like today. We're just going to keep moving forward. We had some good performances considering the conditions and we'll be looking to roll through the rest of the season."
