MARICOPA, Ariz. – The University of Idaho women's golf team finished in 12
th place after the conclusion of the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic. As a team, the Vandals carded a team score of 54-over, 918.

"We have a lot of work to do," said head coach
Lisa Ferrero. "Our mistakes are costing us a lot of shots so if we limit those and gain some confidence in this week of practice then we will e good to go for the conference tournament."

Senior
Valeria Patino had the best round for the Vandals on Tuesday, carding a 2-over, 74. After firing in two birdies in her final 18 holes, Patino finished in a tie for 31
st with a three-round score of 10-over, 226. Junior
Vicky Tsai and sophomore
Eddie Hsu sit four strokes behind Patino, sitting in a tie for 47
th place. After three rounds of play, Tsai and Hsu carded a score of 14-over, 230.

Graduate student
Jaime Bellingham carded a 10-over, 82 in her final round on Tuesday. Bellingham tied for 65
th with a total score of 17-over, 233. Graduate student
Laura Gerner placed 87
th with a total score of 23-over, 239.

New Mexico State claimed first place with a team score of 5-over, 869. Individually, CSU Fullerton's Brittany Shin claimed the sole possession of first place with a total score of 5-under, 211.
