MOSCOW, Idaho – Senior linebacker Christian Elliss took the next step toward realizing his professional dreams over the weekend, signing a free agent deal with the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL).
 
Elliss wrapped up his career with the Vandals in 18^th in program history in tackles with 266, despite the shortened senior season. He averaged 10 tackles per game this spring, the fourth best mark in the Big Sky.
 
Elliss earned All-Big Sky honors in all three years he competed in the league, including a pair of First Team recognitions as a junior and a senior.
 
The Vandals open the season Sept. 4 against Simon Fraser.
