MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho men's basketball has announced its full schedule for the 2021-22 season.

The 117th Battle of the Palouse and the SoCal Challenge highlight the early season for the Vandals.

Idaho will host Yellowstone Christian on November 4 for an exhibition game.  

The Vandals open the regular season at home, hosting Long Beach State on November 10 in the inaugural game at the Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU) Arena. More information on that game can be found here. The Vandals will then welcome George Fox on November 12.

This season's edition of The Battle of the Palouse will be on November 18. The Cougs will make the trek to Moscow for a 6 p.m. Thursday night clash.

The Vandals will also participate in the Southern California Challenge in November. Idaho will take on Fresno State in Fresno on November 15 before returning home for its game with WSU. The team will then head back to the Golden State and play Utah Valley on November 22. Depending on results, the Vandals will play either Cal Poly or Nicholls State on November 24 to wrap up the SoCal Challenge. Both the Utah Valley game as well as the Nov. 24 game will be in San Juan Capistrano, Calif.

Idaho will then travel to Fargo on Nov. 27 to take on North Dakota State.

On December 4, Big Sky play will open, with Southern Utah visiting the ICCU Arena.

Following the game against the Thunderbirds, Idaho will welcome South Dakota State on December 8 before heading back to California to play Cal State Bakersfield. It will be the fifth consecutive year that the Vandals and Roadrunners will meet.

After playing SACU-AI in Moscow on December 18, the Vandals will play at UC Riverside on December 22 to wrap up non-conference play.

Idaho will jump back into its BSC slate of games with a visit to Northern Arizona (Dec. 30) and Portland State (Jan. 1). With the conference returning to a double round robin schedule, the Vandals will have a chance to host all Big Sky teams at the ICCU Arena.

The Big Sky Tournament, once again hosted in Boise, will be March 9-12 at the Idaho Central Arena.

Idaho Athletics is hosting a Seat Selection Event on Thursday, Sept. 2, and Friday, Sept. 3, for all season ticket holders. Donors to the construction of ICCU Arena will have the first opportunity to choose their seats, while all remaining season ticket holders will have the opportunity to select their seats on September 3.
