MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Track and Field/Cross Country program is excited to announce the commitment of Savannah Pratt of Central Valley High School in Washington.
Savannah is an emerging talent from the Spokane Valley who will run both cross country and track and field for the Vandals. Her high school track and field career was highlighted by district placings in the 800m, where she placed fifth as a freshman, and fourth as both a sophomore and senior. She has a personal best of 2:20.72 in the 800m. She also has personal bests of 62.16 in the 400m and 5:25.96 in the 1600m.
After going out for cross country as a sophomore, Savannah has steadily improved as a harrier. She has a personal best of 19:37 in 5000m cross country. She placed 24th in the state this spring in the 4A Washington State Virtual Cross Country Championships.
Savannah has also had tremendous success academically as an AP Scholar at Central Valley. She will attend the University of Idaho Honors program.
