MOSCOW, Idaho – The Idaho men's basketball team (5-6) cruised past Northwest Indian College, 125-51 on Friday night at ICCU Arena.

Six Vandals scored in double digits, including a team-high and career-high 31 points from Dominique Ford on 12-of-21 shooting and 7-of-13 from three. Isaac Jones dropped 20 points while shooting 9-of-11 from the field in 11 minutes of action.

The Vandals lit it up from behind the arc, going 19-of-38 (50%) from three, which is tied for the most three point makes (19 vs. New Hope, 12/18/15) by an Idaho team since at least 2003.

Two Vandals recorded a double-double. Michael Hanshaw recorded a career-high in scoring with 18 points and 12 boards while Jack Hatten recorded a personal best 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Nigel Burris added 17 points while RJ Walker delivered 15 points and nine assists on the night.

Idaho shot 55.6 percent in the opening 20 minutes of action as the Vandals held a 67-22 advantage after the first half.

The Vandals came out of the locker room with a sense of urgency on the defensive end, holding the Eagles to 29 points on 28 percent shooting from the field to help earn the 125-51 victory.

The Vandals wrap up non-conference play with a two game road trip in Southern California next week. Idaho will first play Cal State Northridge on Monday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. before going up against Long Beach State on Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. Both games against Big West foes will be televised on ESPN+.
